Fighting cancer is a daunting process for both patients and their loved ones.  It is an emotional and physical battle involving much patience, courage and hope.

Warriors are known for their bravery, strength, honour and fighting spirit.  As such, the “I am Cancer Warrior” campaign seeks to celebrate the warrior in us when it comes to overcoming cancer.  It also hopes to motivate our patients and their loved ones as they face and fight the illness.

Our theme for the campaign is ‘Draw for Courage’.  It highlights the importance of resilience in tough times.  Through your drawing, we want to encourage the warriors who are battling cancer.

Show your creativity and support by drawing your impression of a cancer warrior.

Share your thoughts or write an inspiring message.  Donate your art piece to the patients or bring it home and share it with your family and friends.

You can show your creativity and support by drawing your impression of a cancer warrior on the canvas and giving a description of your own warrior. It can also be a piece to thank loved ones for the support and strength or encouragement to a patient or someone who is facing difficult moments

Corporate Social Responsibility

One reason why Parkway Cancer Centre was founded was to leverage the strength of the collective. Our founding doctors understood that together, as a team, we could achieve far more than any individual could. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme is grounded in the same principle: to empower, educate and engage.

With our patients, their families and the wider public in mind, it is our commitment to share accurate, relevant and up-to-date information about cancer, to dispel myths and misconceptions about the disease and its treatments, and to rally support for all cancer patients and their loved ones.

Through a variety of initiatives, events and collaborations, our CSR programme has touched innumerable lives. This is how we give back to our community.
